Scholarship amount:

Ten partial scholarships (50%) and

Two  full scholarships (100%)

Eligibility :

Students who have completed grade 12 in Saudi Arabia.

Criteria: 

• You must be a new applicant for an undergraduate programme at GUtech
• You must have scored at least 85% in your overall grade 12 certificate with at least 85% in Mathematics.
• You must have IELTS 6.0.
• You must qualify for direct admission to GUtech Bachelor programmes
• You must have applied online for admission (you will need the application ID for applying to this scholarship)
• You must be a self-funded applicant and not in receipt of any other scholarship.

Scholarship amount:

50% scholarship for entire duration of programme.

Eligibility :

All GUtech alumni, local and international, who want to enroll for further studies in one of GUtech’s Master’s degree programmes.

Scholarship amount:

20% scholarship of tuition fees.

Eligibility :

Non-Omani citizens, both residing in and outside Oman, who have received unconditional admission to GUtech.

Criteria: 

The award is limited to the regular course of study on a Bachelor programme (8 semesters) and not available for foundation programme students.

Students who already receive a major scholarship from a Ministry, DAAD, employer or any other funding source should discuss their eligibility with the International Office Manager.

1. Recipients must register and maintain full-time status each semester

2. Students must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (cGPA)

a) Students dropping below a cGPA of 2.5 for one year lose their scholarship

b) Students may reapply for the scholarship once they raise their cGPA above 2.5 again

3. Students must remain in good standing (e.g. no financial holds, attendance warnings, or violations of the university’s code of conduct)

4. The scholarship is awarded only for the programme of study for which the student was first accepted. Students who wish to change programme of study will have to reapply for a scholarship.

Scholarship amount:

10 Undergraduate full Scholarship.(100% of Tuition fees) for entire duration of undergraduate program.

Eligibility :

High achieving high school students from all nationalities.

Criteria: 

• You must be a new applicant for an undergraduate programme at GUtech
• You must have scored at least 95% in your overall grade 12 certificate(see below the equivalent overall marks for other curriculum)
• You must qualify for direct admission to GUtech Bachelor programmes
• You must have applied online for admission (you will need the application ID for applying to this scholarship)
• You must be a self-funded applicant and not in receipt of any other scholarship.

Scholarship amount:

20 undergraduate partial tuition fees ( 50 %  of tuition fees) for entire duration of undergraduate program.

Eligibility :

High achieving students from all nationalities.

Criteria: 

• You must be a new applicant for an undergraduate programme at GUtech
• You must have scored at least 90% in your overall grade 12 certificate (see below the equivalent overall marks for other curriculum)
• You must qualify for direct admission to GUtech Bachelor programmes
• You must have applied online (you will need the application ID for applying to this scholarship)
• You must be a self-funded applicant and not in receipt of any other scholarship.

Scholarship amount:

50% of tuition fees.

Benefits:

GUtech students can also benefit from DAAD scholarships to attend language and specialty courses in Germany, travel to Germany for a mandatory internship, write their Bachelor thesis at GUtech’s partner institution RWTH Aachen University, or complete a Master’s programme in Germany.

Eligibility :

Excellent self-funded GUtech students can apply for scholarship  after their first year of enrollment in the Bachelor programme.

Criteria: 

You can combine this scholarship with an International Student Scholarship, but you will need to apply for each individually by their specific deadlines.

Scholarship amount:

• Up to 30% scholarship of tuition fee waiver applicable to individual employees designated by their respective employer to join any eligible master programme.
• Up to 50% scholarship of tuition fee waiver per employee, applicable to 3 employees or more from the same organisations, joining any of the Master programmes in the same intake.

Eligibility :

PPP is available to employees applying directly to GUtech or being designated by their respective organisations to join a specific Master degree programme at GUtech.

Criteria: 

• You must qualify for admission and be accepted to a Master programme at GUtech
• A ‘PPP’ agreement will have to be concluded with your employer before seeking to benefit from the PPP scholarship
• You must obtain a letter each semester from your company’s human resources office indicating your employment status, and as a benefit-eligible employee. The letter should also be submitted to Admission Office prior to your first semester at GUtech.

Scholarship amount:

• Up to 20% scholarship of tuition fee waiver applicable to individual employees designated by their respective employer to join any eligible Bachelor programme.
• Up to 40% scholarship of tuition fee waiver per employee, applicable to 3 employees or more from the same organisations, joining any of the Bachelor programmes in the same intake.

Eligibility :

PPP is available to employees applying either directly to GUtech or designated by their respective organisations to join a specific Bachelor degree programme at GUtech.

Criteria: 

• You must qualify for admission and be accepted to a Bachelor programme at GUtech
• A ‘PPP’ agreement will have to be concluded with your employer before seeking to benefit from the PPP scholarship
• You must obtain a letter each semester from your company’s human resources office indicating your employment status, and as a benefit-eligible employee. The letter should also be submitted to the Admissions Office prior to your first semester at GUtech.
