Since 2018, students have had the opportunity to study with us in Dubai. In 2022, we transitioned to a new, purpose-built campus, seamlessly fusing the historic Aston Webb buildings in Birmingham with the cultural richness and architectural beauty of Arabic heritage.

The Chancellor's Academic Merit Scholarship

Scholarship amount:

Based on predicted grades for Undergraduate program

Based on Bachelor’s grade for Postgraduate program.

Eligibility :

All Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.

Criteria:

The scholarship will apply to all years of study including our student exchange year in the UK, unless your second and/ or final year of study is in the UK; BSc Biomedical Science, MSci Biomedical Science, MEng Mechanical Engineering, MEng Computer Science and Software Engineering.

PG programmes, it will be based on your Bachelor (or equivalent) grades. The scholarship is applied to the full tuition fee of the programme regardless of whether it is FT or PT.

Provost’s Academic Scholarship (invitation only)

Scholarship amount:

cover 50% of the total tuition fees.

Eligibility :

Outstanding students who exhibit the highest standards of academic excellence.

Criteria:

No application required, as all offers are reviewed, this is an exclusive award that is offered on an invitation basis only.

Emirati Excellence Scholarship (invitation only)

Scholarship amount:

50% scholarship in year one, reducing to 20% in each subsequent year.

Eligibility :

Outstanding Emirati students (on invitation only)

Criteria:

Applies to UAE Nationals only. No application required, as all offers are reviewed, this is an exclusive award that is offered on an invitation basis only. Successful candidates must provide evidence of the Emirati family book.

Jinan University – University of Birmingham Joint Institute Scholarship

Scholarship amount:

JBJI graduates achieving a 1st will be eligible for a 30% scholarship
JBJI graduates achieving a 2:1 will be eligible for a 25% scholarship
JBJI graduates achieving a 2:2 will be eligible for a 20% scholarship

Eligibility :

Exclusive scholarship offered to students graduating from the Jinan University – University of Birmingham Joint Institute (JBJI) in Guangzhou.

Criteria:

These scholarships for are for postgraduate programmes at the University of Birmingham Dubai .

Alumni Connections Scholarship

Scholarship amount:

20% to all years of study.

Eligibility :

Family members (parent, sibling, or spouse) of alumni.

Criteria:

A copy of the alum’s University of Birmingham degree certificate is required and only eligible for family members of students who have successfully completed the programme from Dubai or Edgbaston.
